Synopsis

In Hotel Wars, players build a chain of hotels in Europe. There are 18 European cities available and players have 9 options to choose from during their turns. They can build hotels, hire chefs and managers, train them, get loans from banks, buy or sell stocks to increase their income. Players can use a phone to call financial advisors who will give them information on their competitors, an insurance company to avoid losing too much money in the event of a fire, a member of the Yakuza who will help players hijack their competitor's hotel. The police will fine players for using the Yakuza's services but protect them from any future payments to the mafia. Players who have gone bankrupt will see their hotels bought by their competitors.
