Synopsis

A simple two-player game launched with much publicity, Hotshot places you and another player (another person or an AI robot) in an arena divided in two, except for a hole about half the height of the screen through which the ball must pass, and a series of bricks to destroy on each side.

The aim of the game is to destroy your own bricks before your opponent can destroy theirs. To do this, you need to grab the small brick by pointing your suction cup towards it and holding the button, then releasing it by letting go of the button. This is easier said than done, because the ball moves neither in a straight line nor according to the natural rules of gravity.

If one of the players is hit by the ball and does not catch it correctly, they are knocked down and possession of the ball passes to the other player.
