Synopsis

House of Usher is a classic single-screen platformer where you explore a haunted mansion, escape from room to room and finally find the exit. You start in the main hall with ten numbered doors, which you must pass through in order before unlocking doors X and Y to exit. Each room presents unique challenges: jumping over precipices, dodging cannon fire or creatures, picking up items and avoiding obstacles. Hitting a creature or falling from a great height costs you one life out of three and sends you back to the main hall. In room Y, a timer adds extra pressure: if you fail to escape in time, you lose all your lives. Collect hearts to get bonus points and escape the mansion before it's too late!
