Synopsis

Six board games make their debut on the computer screen in this third installment of the Hoyle's series. Snakes and Ladders, Backgammon, Yacht / Yahtzee, Checkers, Dominoes, and Pachisi / Parcheesi are all included, complete with animated graphics and sound effects. Since there is no time pressure and the rules of the games are familiar, these games are designed to appeal to a wider audience than most video games.

At least one human player is required; the other players can be human or computer-controlled. The 18 computer opponents from the first Hoyle’s game make a comeback; many of them are inspired by other Sierra characters, such as Larry Laffer, and, once again, some play the role of the “good guy” while others embody the “bad guy.”
