Synopsis

Humm-Dinger is a side-scrolling shooter where the screen scrolls as you move your hero using a Jet-Pack, left or right, blasting waves of aliens. In each wave you must destroy all the aliens so that they drop a B icon. When a certain number of them have been collected before hitting the ground, you can then face one final wave to destroy. As you move and shoot through the level, you should avoid hitting the aliens or their weapons as this causes a slowly diminishing energy gauge to drop more quickly.

When your energy gauge runs out, you lose one of four lives. Allowing a B icon to hit the ground also decreases the gauge, but some destroyed waves of aliens drop an F icon which fills your energy gauge.
