Synopsis

The game focuses on Gon and Killua during the Hunter Exam. Each character has two fighting styles, which the player can switch between using Change Drive.

Gon can quickly chain punches or use Change Drive to wield a giant fishing rod.

Killua combines melee attacks and his skateboard.

Kurapika fights with his bare hands and with his two bokken (wooden swords).

Leorio uses melee attacks as well as his medical knowledge.

The player can also switch between two characters using the Tag Shift System. All characters have a Tension Gauge that fills when they take damage. Once full, it can trigger a powerful special attack.

Finally, Hisoka appears as one of the story mode bosses.
