Synopsis

An evil demon named Varalys places a curse on Princess Ann, transforming her into three fairies. You control Sir Jim and go looking for the fairies, then you kill Varalys. Only by defeating Varalys can the curse be lifted. Once the princess is restored, the kingdom will be saved.

The player must explore vast wilderness areas, descend into dungeons and eliminate enemies along the way. The combat system is similar to that implemented in the Ys series: you have to hit enemies and prevent them from attacking the character from the sides and back. The player can switch between defensive and offensive positions with the press of a single button. Magic spells can also be used to eliminate enemies. The player character becomes more powerful as he advances in the game.
