Synopsis

In Hydrophobia, the player takes on the role of engineer Kate Wilson who works on the cruise ship Queen of the World. Unfortunately, terrorists took over the ship and placed bombs all over the ship. After blowing them up, chaos ensued. Kate must now fight for her life.

In this environment, water plays an important role and emphasis is placed on a realistic depiction of water. Water is the main component of many of the game's puzzles in which Kate uses her kinetic powers, acquired in the second half. Other puzzles involve using a universal device to hack security installations or find the codes to open doors. These are written in an invisible font on the walls and must be made visible with his tool. The rest of the game consists of climbing sections and shootouts with terrorists.
