Synopsis

Hyper Blob takes place on the planet Cubos, where the player works as a tour guide. Unfortunately, he has to deal with a group of tourist Blobpods: bouncy, stupid balls. The 100 horizontally scrolling levels are made up of blocks arranged in different ways, for example in stairs or with gaps. Blobpods bounce from left to right and only bounce when they hit a block. If they fall into a gap, they die. The player controls a cursor to pick up blocks and drop them elsewhere: creating a safe path is the only way to save the Blobpods. Special blocks include immovable blocks, mutant blocks (which allow the Blobpod to devour any blocks it touches), and blocks that disintegrate upon contact with a Blobpod. To make matters worse, each level is timed.
