Synopsis

Hypernova Blast is a horizontal shooter similar to Defender, in which the player must defend four cities against alien ships. With 5 ships at your disposal, we know that attacking forces can be defeated and repelled. You are our last hope. You can save us. Are you ready to take on the challenge? Hypernova Blast is a reimagining of the classic game Nova Blast (ColecoVision, 1983). You choose one of 5 ships to pilot and must use bombs and lasers to protect your cities from alien invaders. You have a limited amount of energy, which also serves as a shield, and when a city is too weak, you must decide whether to save your city or keep more energy for yourself. The game is over when your ship's energy runs out or all your cities have fallen.
