Synopsis

Ian Botham's Test Match is a cricket game playable alone or with two players, using the keyboard or joystick. Three modes are offered: a match with a limited number of overs, a one-day match or a test match, each requiring increasing playing time. The player can opt for “armchair cricket” mode (where the game automatically assigns the names of the players) or for “personal team selection” mode (where he enters the names of his team himself). At the start of the game, a cricket pitch is displayed with the bowler, wicketkeeper and two opposing batsmen already in place. The player must then arrange nine other fielders around the field before the first over.
