Synopsis

Missile Base is a variation of the arcade game Missile Command. The game works the same way, with the player tasked with protecting six cities from a missile onslaught. The player has access to three anti-missile bases which each contain nine rockets which, when fired, explode into fireballs which destroy all missiles within its radius. When playing with the keyboard, each base is controlled individually while when using the joystick, the base closest to the crosshair is used. In addition to regular missiles, there are multi-warhead missiles and smart missiles that avoid fireballs. There are also enemy satellites and planes flying across the screen and shooting at cities.
