Synopsis

Ijūin Hikaru no Houkago no Ousama was a SoundLink Nintendo/St.GIGA radio/quiz show and Satellaview magazine directed by Motomasa Mitsumaru and hosted by Hikaru Ijūin, a Japanese comedian and radio personality also known for commenting on and reviewing video games. Yutao Utsumi (currently Yutaka) served as assistant. From July until August 7, he was also known as Ijūin Hikaru no Natsu Yasumi no Ousama (“Hikaru Ijūin's Summer Vacation King”). After April 1996, it became known as Ijūin Hikaru no Kai Denpa Hasshin Kichi (“Hikaru Ijūin's Mysterious Radio Transmission Base”). The radio program included games, music, people-oriented content, and various quiz segments. Further details about the magazine remain unclear, but based on screenshots and certain show topics such as “selling your family,” “urination experience,” and “thief talk,” it appears to have contained vulgar, dark humor, and sexual elements in its content.
