Synopsis

Indy Racing 2000 is an officially licensed product of that year's Indy Racing League. At that time, races took place only on oval circuits and featured Indianapolis-style racing cars, with open wheels and an open cockpit.

All 20 drivers, their cars and teams are authentic, as are the licensed IRL tracks, including night tracks in Texas and Charlotte. Two-player mode is supported and a unique draft indicator allows for catapult-effect overruns.

The best drivers are represented by detailed replicas of their cars. It's more of a racing simulation than a pure action game, letting you choose front and rear wing angles, adjust tire pressure, transmission ratios and gearbox type.
