Synopsis
Into the Eagle's Nest puts the player in the role of an Allied commando defending a Nazi castle against German stormtroopers. The game is similar to the classic Gauntlet, but set during World War II. The player navigates through a maze of corridors and rooms, collecting items like ammunition, keys, health packs, and elevator cards. The graphics are striking, with characters larger than those in similar games like Gauntlet or Alien Breed. The player frequently encounters enemies who patiently wait for doors to open before attacking.
