Synopsis
Ironclad (Ironclad Brikinger Chotetsu in Japan) is a shoot 'em up type game developed by Saurus and published by SNK in 1996 on Neo-Geo CD (NGH 220)1,2,3. At the end of 2009, the game was ported to virtual console in Japan and on March 12, 2010 to virtual console in Europe. A Neo-Geo MVS version in prototype form was presented at several video game fairs of the time, but the game was not officially released for commercial sale4,(en) Ironclad on Arcade-History. A bootleg version in MVS and AES format appeared shortly after the game's arrival on the Wii's Japanese Virtual Console.
