Synopsis

This strategy game is somewhat similar to the better-known Romance of the Three Kingdoms series and other historical simulation games from the same company, but it also differs from them with much less complex diplomacy options and an emphasis on navigation and one-on-one encounters. Before starting, the player chooses a general and customizes his parameters (endurance, attack power, charisma, knowledge). The player then controls the general with the soldiers of his choice, navigating him on grids representing cities and countrysides of Japan, in a turn-based manner. Grids can be occupied by stores, schools (to train the general), friendly or hostile characters and groups. Battles, as well as negotiations and diplomatic procedures, take place automatically, and their outcome depends on the characters' statistics.
