Synopsis

A mass prison breakout has occurred and the prison warden has been kidnapped in this side-scrolling shootout from Konami. The player controls a lone police officer whose job is to kill the hordes of escaped convicts and, eventually, rescue the kidnapped guard. Each level also has a number of civilian hostages who also roam the levels and need to be rescued.

The player starts the game with only a pistol, but 2 additional weapons, in the form of a bazooka and a tear gas gun, can be collected. The 'Weapon Select' button cycles through the player's weapons via a display at the bottom of the screen. When the desired weapon is highlighted, press the Fire button to select and fire the desired weapon.

Hostages will randomly cross the screen and can be saved by encountering them. If the player accidentally shoots a hostage, all additional weapons will be lost, leaving only the pistol.
