Synopsis

Jazz the Rabbit was about to marry his girlfriend Eva Earlong, when his nemesis, the turtle Devan Shell, stole his wedding ring. Additionally, Eva's mother locked Jazz and her brother Spaz in a dungeon. The two hares must escape, recover the precious jewel and punish Devan for his misdeeds.

Like its predecessor, Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is a platform game. Unlike the previous episode, this sequel allows the player to also control Spaz. Jazz retains her ability to hover in the air using her ears, and Spaz can stomp and crush enemies. Hares use a default blaster pistol with unlimited ammo and can later acquire more powerful weapons, some of which (e.g. an ice gun) did not exist in the first game. Coins can be found throughout levels and given to vendors to access bonus areas.
