Synopsis

Following the events of Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Jazz and his wife, Eva Earlong, move to Carrotus Castle to rule the planet and have children. The game ties in with Jazz 2, starting with a battle between Jazz and Devan in a 2D environment, either as a cutscene or actual gameplay. (A storyboard for one of these cutscenes was drawn, but never animated.) The premise shows Jazz and his wife with children, whom Devan comes to kidnap. Devan manages to snatch the children and take them to an alternate universe using Jazz 2's Time Machine (converted to a dimensional machine). This alternate universe turns out to be the 3rd dimension, and of course, Jazz must venture into the 360-degree world to save his children. During the search, Devan uses the child's dreams against Jazz.
