Synopsis

Jet Fighter is a variant of Jetpac that is largely the same as the original game, but features a larger play area and different enemy types. The player controls an astronaut who must first collect the three parts of his rocket, then fill it completely so that it can take off. The rocket parts are located on different platforms that the astronaut must use his jetpack to reach. Once the rocket is fully assembled, fuel will begin to fall from the sky and once it has been collected, the rocket will automatically ascend.

The game is played entirely with the mouse, using one button to push up and the other to shoot at the strange beings flying around. Any contact with these will result in loss of life and the game will end on the third. There is also a time limit for each level. By shooting the beings, points are earned and bonuses are gained by collecting falling items.
