Synopsis
This enhanced version of the Joe Montana series features 3D models and even full-motion videos of Joe Montana himself. It carries a full NFL license with all 28 teams of the era with their respective nicknames and logos, as well as 10 of the biggest Super Bowl teams, including the 85 Bears, the 72 Dolphins, to name just a few, that the player can attempt to challenge for the biggest game of the year.
The view is placed behind the quarterback, with 3D angles, including four different replay options including a "Helmet Cam". It includes digitized voices and videos including those of Joe Montana, a character that the player can consult three times during a game. The usual game modes apply (Exhibition, ...) and a full season mode with the playoffs and of course the Super Bowl.
