Synopsis

Johnny Reb is a turn-based strategy game for one or two players, set during the American Civil War. Players can control either a Union or Confederate army.
nnThere are three types of units: infantry, cavalry, and artillery, and players can decide how many units of each type to include in their army. After the initial setup, the battlefield is generated. The objective is to capture the enemy’s flag, but it’s also possible to win by scoring points. The army is controlled using the keyboard—units can move in eight directions. Artillery can fire from a distance, while other unit types can attack directly by simply moving to an adjacent square.
