Synopsis

Joust is set in an era when knights in shining armor fought their battles while straddling enormous green buzzards and pink storks, and is an officially licensed version of the Atari arcade game of the same name.
The opening screen features a large landmass at the bottom of the screen with bridges on the left and right. The bridges are there to prevent you from falling into the lava below. In the sky, there are several smaller platforms hovering motionless, and the player can stand on them. The game can be played by one or two players. In two-player mode, inexperienced players can team up against the computer-controlled enemies, while more experienced players can compete against each other as well as against the computer.
