Synopsis

In jOUST, the player controls a yellow knight riding a flying ostrich or stork, from a third-person perspective, amidst floating rock platforms and above lava pools. The objective is to defeat groups of enemy knights riding buzzards that populate each level, called a "wave". At the end of a wave, a subsequent, more difficult wave begins. The game features three types of enemy knights - Bounder, Hunter, and Shadow Lord - which are worth different amounts of points. A nearly indestructible pterodactyl appears after a predetermined amount of time to hunt heroes, as an incentive to complete the level. A second player can join the game
