Synopsis

Jr. Pac-Man is one of the many Pac-Man sequels featuring the son of the famous hero. The game introduces side-scrolling mazes, twice as wide as the screen, and lacking the usual tunnels. Power-ups move through the maze and transform the pills they touch into larger pills: more lucrative, but greatly slowing down Jr. Pac-Man. These modified pills disappear if the player loses a life. Still pursued by Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Tim, Junior must swallow all the pills to progress, while the power pills allow him to turn the situation around by eating the ghosts. Intermissions appear between certain levels and tell, in the style of Ms. Pac-Man, the romance between Jr. Pac-Man and the little ghost Yum-Yum.
