Synopsis

Jump Jet lets you pilot the pride of the British Navy, the Harrier VTOL fighter, across sea and land to complete a dangerous mission. The game takes place in a side-scrolling shoot'em'up mode. After taking off from your base, your plane is attacked by enemy planes which naturally must be shot down. After crossing the sea and mountains, you must attack a fortified island. Unlike normal side scrollers, your plane actually flies faster than the bulky scroller, causing it to reappear at the left end of the screen once it reaches the right side. An indicator at the bottom shows your mission status, while scores, levels, and ammo levels are tallied at the top.
