Synopsis

Jungle Hunt is a platform video game, released in 1982 on an arcade machine. The game was developed and published by Taito.

This is an unofficial adaptation of Tarzan.

The original game was called Jungle King, and even though Tarzan is not mentioned in the game, that did not prevent Taito from being sued for copyright infringement[ref. necessary]. This is why Taito stopped the broadcast of Jungle King, and released a second version, called Jungle Hunt. The game is the same, with a few differences, the character is now an explorer. Taito will release a third alternative to its title a few months later: Pirate Pete, which adapts the game to the world of pirates.
