Synopsis

Kaiser is a political and economic simulation set in 18th century Germany. Players embody nobles from the Holy Roman Empire, vying for the imperial crown. From one to nine players can participate; they must first enter their name and gender, then be assigned a state within the empire. The game then takes place in rounds, each made up of several successive screens. On the first screen, players can buy and sell grain and land. Grains are essential for feeding a noble's subjects. Bad weather can lead to poor harvests, forcing the purchase of additional grain to avoid starvation.
