Synopsis

KaleidoKubes is a puzzle game in which players place cubes on a board. The game is designed for two players, either against a human or against the computer, but there is also a single player practice mode. Each cube is divided into four different colored triangles (blue, green, red, yellow) and to place one on the board, the color of each side must match the colors of the adjacent cubes. Each cube must be connected to at least one other cube. Players earn points for each cube placed on the board and the more sides are connected, the more points they earn. The game is turn-based and each player has a limited time (30 or 60 seconds depending on the settings). When this time is up, the player is penalized one point and the opponent takes over. Each turn, the player has a single cube that he can rotate and if no solution is found, it is possible to pass his turn. The winner is the player who achieves the highest score when the board is full or when two consecutive combinations of elapsed time or passes have been made.
