Synopsis

A tactical battalion-level armored warfare game that encompasses almost every ground weapon used on the Russian front from 1941 to 1945. Kampfgruppe places the player in command of a German or Russian combat group and features four historical scenarios and an infinite number of random scenarios.

Historical scenarios:

Meeting east of Bryansk (July 7, 1942).

Attempt to liberate Stalingrad (December 17, 1942).

Attack towards kyiv (November 3, 1943).

Attack towards Berlin (March 22, 1945).

The game ends automatically after 20 turns (after 30 if an assault battle is in progress). However, a game may end early or continue after the end of the game if all sides agree. At the end of the game, victory points will be awarded, which will determine whether the battle was a draw or a marginal, substantial, or decisive victory.
