Synopsis

Kanazawa Shōgi is a Shogi (traditional Japanese board game) game for one or two players, supported by the Japan Shogi Association (JSA), which has been the primary organizing body for professional Shogi in Japan since 1924. It uses an algorithm originally created by programmer Shinichiro Kanazawa for the Kiwame series, which was the top-ranked Shogi computer program in Japan for three consecutive years.
The game offers six selectable skill levels, including a beginner mode for new players and a so-called "Dragon Climbing" mode which offers the highest possible skill level.
