Karamalz Cup
Synopsis
A surprisingly complex ice hockey simulation game. An unofficial English version is also available. The game allows players to compete in a world championship. Karamalz Cup is a promotional game for the Karamalz beer brand. This is a national team ice hockey game in which you play a tournament. The calendar is based on the 1993 World Cup. Twelve teams are available, divided into two groups. In groups, each team faces all the others. The top four teams in the standings at the end of the group stage qualify for the quarter-finals. Unlike other computer versions of the sport, you always play against the same player, even if another player on your team has the puck. Karamalz Cup is the very first advertising game developed in 1993 by the advertising agency The Art Department for the private brewery Henninger Bräu AG and the Karamalz brand.
