Synopsis

Karate Combat is a fighting game similar to other martial arts games of its time, such as Karate Champ and International Karate. The game features one-on-one battles against a series of sixteen computer-controlled opponents or against a second human player. Each match lasts until one of the fighters runs out of energy, and points are scored through successful moves. The game can be played with a keyboard or a joystick, and the player can perform high and low kicks and punches, blocks, back sweeps, and flying kicks. Extra points are awarded for timing a move precisely and correctly, but using the same move too often can result in a penalty and a reduced energy level.
