Synopsis

Dragon Slayer is a series that has always been able to renew itself by systematically offering episodes that are very different from each other. Proof of this is once again with this eighth and final chapter, Kaze no Densetsu Xanadu (a sequel to which will be released the following year) which resets the counters by once again offering a completely new product.
A thousand years ago, the peaceful lands of Ishtaria were devastated by the terrible evil dragon Daldantys. Only a hero named Aineas managed to stand up to him and defeat him after a long fight. The infinite energy stone that the creature carried then allowed humans of subsequent generations to use magic to develop and improve their civilization. Many centuries later, all the inhabitants have forgotten this ancient story, the only vestige of which is the carcass of the dragon on the mountain where the battle raged. Areios Alektor, the descendant of this famous hero, is at the head of a troop of horsemen from the kingdom alongside his faithful allies Daimos and Noys. But during a terrible clash against a horde of monstrous creatures, they find themselves surrounded and trapped. Daimos then makes the decision to lure the enemy army in order to allow Areios to flee. He will thus find himself separated from his precious companion.
