Synopsis

Kentilla is the sequel to Derek Brewster's text adventure game, Velnor's Lair.

At the end of the previous opus, Velnor was defeated and his soul thrown into the Void, engulfed by the flames of the Abyss. In the split second that the passage opened, Grako returned from the Abyss and seized the source of Velnor's power: the Moonstone of Aigrath. The goal of the game is to defeat Grako and send him back into the flames of the Abyss. The player is assisted by the mystical sword Kentilla and companions like Elva, capable of carrying items, completing tasks and fighting.

The game's word processing system not only accepts the classic "GO NORTH" and "GET ITEM" commands, but also allows the player to issue orders to other characters, such as "TELL ELVA "GET MOSS"".

The game also plays music while it is running.
