The original Kick Off game was expanded in many ways for this sequel. The game now features full tournament modes (although the team players are fictional) and four different pitches (including plastic pitches, whose uneven bounce caused controversy when several British clubs tried them in the 1980s).nnnnViewed from top to bottom, the controls involve trapping the ball under your foot, giving you time to prepare your passes. Running with the ball is difficult at first, because it doesn't stick to your foot like it did in contemporary soccer games. Complex movements such as spinning kicks, heels and through passes can be achieved with practice.
