Synopsis

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gihren no Yabou is a turn-based strategy game set in the Gundam universe. The game follows a year-long war between the Duchy of Zion and the United Nations. The war lasts 150 turns for the player who can either try to achieve a scenario victory or a complete victory over the enemy. There are two story-based campaigns where the player can play on either side of the conflict.
The battlefield uses a hexagonal grid where the player can produce or move units, conquer cities or attack enemy forces on land, in the air and even in space. The battlefield is divided into two maps: a world map that allows the player to conquer all continents, and a space map that focuses on the battle in the planet's orbit.
