Synopsis

Killapede is a shooter based on the arcade game Centipede in which you have to shoot a centipede-like creature that moves from the top of the screen to the left or right before reaching the bottom of the screen. When any part of the centipede is hit, it splits in two, with both parts continuing to move toward the bottom of the screen. There are also several mushrooms on the screen that block your movements and when the centipede touches them, it changes direction.

Besides the centipede and mushrooms, there are other creatures to shoot down, including a spider that moves in different directions at the bottom of the screen, a chip that places other mushrooms on the screen, and a snail that gives bonus points when killed. If you touch them, you lose one of your six lives. You can move your ship left, right, down and up the screen a certain distance using a joystick or the keyboard.
