Synopsis

The Steam PC version of Killer Instinct was released four years after the Xbox One version and one year after the Windows Apps version. The features are the same for all versions, but instead of a free-to-play version, this is a retail version where all content and characters are included immediately, without DLC. However, there are still microtransactions for the KI Gold currency to obtain additional costumes, content and the ability to unlock certain items early. All characters from all previous seasons are included. The game is cross-play with the other two platforms for multiplayer matches, but not for ranked matches.
