Synopsis

Killzone HD is a remastered version of the 2004 PS2 game Killzone. The franchise takes place in a distant future of space colonization. Earth, under the aegis of the United Colonial Nations (UCN), established colonies, one of which, Vecta, rebelled. After being defeated, the colonists of Vecta went into exile on the inhospitable planet Helgan, where they founded what became the Helghast Empire, which fell under the control of a charismatic leader, the Autarch Scolar Visari, determined to conquer the galaxy. For its part, Earth set up the ISA (Interplanetary Strategic Alliance), a military cooperation between human colonies which allows them to ensure their defense without depending too much on Earth. This first chapter follows the war which begins in 2357 between Helgan and Vecta.
