Synopsis

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is a romantic visual novel in which the player assumes the role of Takayuki Narumi. Its gameplay requires little interaction between players as much of the game's duration is spent reading the text that appears on the screen, representing the story's narrative and dialogue. The text is accompanied by character sprites, which represent Takayuki's interlocutors, against a background. Throughout the game, the player encounters CG artwork at certain points in the story, which replaces background art and character sprites. When the game is completed at least once, a gallery of viewed CGs becomes available on the game's title screen. Rumbling Hearts follows a branching plot with multiple endings, and depending on the decisions the player makes during gameplay, the plot will progress in a specific direction.
