Synopsis

Inspired by the film King Kong 2: Yomigaeru Densetsu is an action game combining puzzles and role-playing, offering a more complex experience than the Famicom version of King Kong 2.
You play as Mitchel (Hank Mitchell from the film) who travels to Golnebo Island in search of Lady Kong, the only creature whose blood can save King Kong, who was seriously injured at the end of the first film. As you explore the island, Mitchel will fight enemies with melee weapons and magic scrolls, and gain experience points. With enough experience, he will level up and see his strength, speed, health, and magic points increase. By entering certain buildings, Mitchel can initiate conversations, purchase weapons or healing items, and rest. During conversations, Mitchel will also obtain clues necessary to solve certain puzzles. The game offers several endings depending on the time taken by the player to complete it (play time is measured in days) and the number of continuations used.
