Synopsis

Kirby's Toy Box is the translated name of a small series of Kirby subgames titled (Kabi no Omochabako, meaning Kirby's Toy Box) in Japan. The Kirby's Toy Box series was broadcast on Nintendo's first form of digital distribution, the Satellaview satellite network, and, depending on when the player connected to the network, different games were available at different times. These games could be downloaded to the Satellaview base unit or to an 8 megabit "Memory Pak" rewritable ROM cartridge compatible with the Satellaview. As these games did not use the SoundLink live audio streaming technology used by other Satellaview games, after being downloaded they could be played at any time after broadcast, as long as they were not erased or overwritten.
