Synopsis

This is a great old-school arcade game that has two essential ingredients for success—it’s addictive and it’s fun. The goal of the game seems to be to guide the male cousin through all sorts of dangers until he meets his female counterpart. It all looks very simple. You move the little guy straight across the screen along a path, making him jump over the strange bush and the mailbox. The quality of the background graphics is so good that you might find your mind wandering from the task at hand. Another challenge is the time limit. You lose a life if you don’t cross the screen quickly enough. Not only that, but you’re also under fire. It won’t take you long to master Screen One with confidence and then move on to Screen Two. Success here leads you to bouncing kangaroos, and by shooting these defenseless creatures, you can earn bonus points. Now the path has led you to the wooded countryside, where you’ll encounter bats and moving mushrooms. These are quite challenging, and avoiding them takes a lot of practice. Level six brings you to some pretty cute frogs, but also to a long bridge that’s dissolving. This one’s stumping me, so I don’t know what happens next.
