Synopsis

Maze of Galious - Knightmare II. We cannot speak immediately, as their game is completely different. This time, it's a platform game with a hint of adventure, heavily influenced by The Legend of Zelda, the Nintendo hit released in the meantime. You still play as Popollo, but this time, his friend Aphrodite, who looks a lot like him, will come and take over if he gets caught. The game is rather long, complex, it's really not an action game. You have to explore the levels, look for objects, and the enemies do not attack each other head-on. There are still bosses which confirm that the game remains action-oriented. The graphics are vaguely reminiscent of Lode Runner (or King's Valley, its Konamien equivalent), but the game, which turns out to be exciting and rich, can be enjoyed the Japanese way, quietly, taking the time to savor the magnificent accompanying music.
