Synopsis

Knights of Valor is a 2D side-scrolling beat'em up (2.5D gameplay), in the style of Golden Ax or Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara. The game is loosely based on the Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms (the action begins in the 16th year of the Han Dynasty) and the main enemy is Sun Quan, who kidnapped the child Adou.

The player can choose one of 5 characters (the five tiger generals of Shu, each with a different weapon) - Zhao, Zhang Huang, Guan and Ma. The rest is simple: he goes right, kills enemies and bosses. Enemies have various weapons: swords and shields, spears, bows. The player can find various treasures to get points.
