Synopsis
Third title in Nintendo's original Donkey Kong series. It was first released on Family Computer (Famicom) and in arcades, before being ported to several platforms, including the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the Wii via the Virtual Console service.
Donkey Kong 3 has been described as a "fixed-screen shoot 'em up", a departure from the gameplay of the original Donkey Kong.
