Synopsis

In the distant future, humans abandon a devastated Earth and set off to explore space. However, an unknown phenomenon prevents them from continuing their space journey. Back on Earth, they discover an inhospitable world, with the exception of Japan. In order to accommodate the entire human population, parallel dimensions are created around Japan. In the hope of returning to space, humans set out to rewrite history according to the precepts of the Testament. But in 1413 CE, nations from parallel dimensions invaded and conquered Japan, dividing the territory into feudal fiefdoms and forcing its inhabitants into exile. The year is 1648 of the Testament Era. Japanese refugees now live aboard the city ship Musashi, which continually travels across Japan under the surveillance of the Testament Union, the authority overseeing this rewriting of history. However, rumors of apocalypse and war began to spread when the Testament stopped revealing what happened after 1648.
