L.A. Machineguns
Synopsis
Released in 1995, the heyday of 32-bit (Sega Saturn and PlayStation), GunBlade NY was developed on a Model 2 arcade board by the AM#3 studio. This same studio was already responsible for Sega Rally (although it was the same team, the team was different) or Cyber Troopers: Virtual ON. Some experience with the super powerful arcade system of the time existed and in order not to enter into direct competition with Virtua Cop from AM#2, the third amusement division decided to make a rail-shooter, adding certainly a big dose of fun but even more... spectacular! No need to reload, no need to aim well, GunBlade NY offered to blast everything that appeared on the screen thanks to the large machine gun that the terminal had. Furthermore, the Japanese giant produces two types of terminals. A Standard version and a Deluxe version with a 50" screen.
